In the context of the progressive evolution of Public Archeology in Italy, this volume intends to offer a multiple contribution to the current debate on this rather recent area of discipline and social and cultural innovation. This happens above all thanks to the cultural and scientific variety represented by the case studies selected and illustrated by the authors in their respective articles, in the iconographic kits and in the external hypermedia resources accessible on the Net. reader many formidable ideas and sociological perspectives on territorial archeology and public archeology, on historical and current landscapes, and on the cultures that have elaborated them. Different social and cultural dimensions are found in the collated works, in parallel with all those elements of a more typically historical-archaeological and historical-landscape nature.
