Technical Information
The volume proposes a geoarchaeological study of the plain north-east of Bologna, with particular reference to the territories of Minerbio and Budrio. The research collects the information deducible from the archaeological and geological cartography and, through the analysis of manual cores carried out for the occasion, reconstructs the stratified events of the territory. The stratigraphic data thus obtained is processed for the production of a map of the thickness of the post-Roman alluvial deposits. Finally, everything is put in relation with the data from historical cartography and available in written sources in a period between the XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries, in order to stratigraphically contextualize the evolution of farm systems and the natural landscape.
