Technical Information

The volume is the awaited edition of one of the main excavations of medieval archeology in Italy, that of the castle of Montarrenti. After a patient work of recovery and analysis of the documentation, the author reconstructs the individual phases of the life of the settlement, establishing their dating thanks to a detailed study of the finds. The site of Montarrenti was born as a village towards the middle of the XNUMXth century and continued its existence, transforming itself into a castle during the Middle Ages. The reconstructions made by the InkLink studio in Florence enrich the text and make it even more effective.
