Description
The volume shows the results of the excavations of the 'Fond'Jò' site, near Collelongo in the Abruzzo region of Marsica. This is the recovery of materials and documents relating to the first excavation campaigns of the fifties and sixties of the twentieth century, edited by prof. Giorgio Tempesti. These data are integrated and completed by the most recent discoveries relating to the site, in order to obtain a general and in-depth picture of the Collelongo area in the protohistoric era, an age so rich in testimonies for the whole of Abruzzo. And precisely the findings of the 'Fond'Jò', thanks to the comparison with other sites, are able to open up new important interpretative scenarios for the Marsican culture in the Bronze Age.
