The volume, through the examination of a vast amount of data, highlights the different functional areas relating to the strips of housing fabric brought to light on the plateau of Broglio di Trebisacce during 12 archaeological excavations. The analysis of the spatial distribution of the finds is aimed at this, interpreted as residues of the actions, and therefore evidence of the various activities carried out on site. In this sense, the A. proceeds to the analysis of previously neglected evidences, such as the plaster fragments of the hut and the remains of installations or objects in terracotta, such as the mud-mortar hearth plates and the ovens and stoves (through an accurate archaeometric study). Furthermore, the results of the published research on the distribution of ceramics, other non-vascular artefacts, and the remains of faunas are re-examined, so as to distinguish one from another groups of archaeological contexts characterized by different combinations of finds, congruent with different ways of using the respective areas.
