This collection of writings was born as a tribute to Armando De Guio on the occasion of his retirement from academic activity. His enthusiasm and brilliant mind have helped to pave the way towards unexplored spaces and times, sometimes anticipating the applicative methodological directions of archaeological research at national and international level by entire decades. In his footsteps - multiform, sometimes complex, but always illuminating - the authors of this volume have built their contributions as a tangible sign of esteem, affection and gratitude to a figure who has been, and continues to be, a point of reference for the Italian archaeological landscape.
