Descrizione
La posizione geografica, alcuni documenti e la singolarità dei rinvenimenti preistorici hanno da tempo attirato l’attenzione di storici e archeologi su Filattiera. Il presente fascicolo racconta, in breve, i risultati di ricerche e scavi iniziati sistematicamente nel 1981 che aiutano a comprendere un territorio ricco di importanti testimonianze preistoriche, romane, medievali, postmedievali.
The geographical position, certain documents, and the uniqueness of prehistoric finds have long drawn the attention of historians and archaeologists to Filattiera. This issue briefly recounts the results of research and excavations that began systematically in 1981 and that today help us understand an area rich in important prehistoric, classical, medieval and post-medieval evidence.
